Still more well-lit than a Netflix film.

Ive never scrumpt a scream EVER in my life the way I screamed on this drop.
….
I just remember screaming until all I could do was produce a guttural sound by the bottom.
I was with my partner at the time, and I’ll never forget the glances we exchanged after that

the grainy camcorder footage makes it perfect

I forgot this ride had a drop. Told my older family members who were afraid of those type of rides it was just a boat ride with dinosaurs. I remember realizing there was a drop coming and looking back at their horrified faces. Like, oops, sorry 😅.

I think we went in 95 or so to the one in Orlando. I’m pretty sure they had that same car drop scene because that looks so familiar to me

Thank you. This was my exact memory as a child, I sat next to my brother on this ride. The only family vacation we had with both my mom and dad. This was a nice memory for me.

I lived in Burbank in 1998, I was 8 years old, we went to Universal probably 2 times a week in the summer. This really brings me back some really lovely nostalgic memories.

Crazy to think that now they have real cloned dinosaurs on that ride that will randomly choose and eat one of the park goers. You are always left to think “is it going to be me” on every ride.

I’m surprised they didn’t stop the ride. They are pretty anal about letting people film.

Those were the days! Now the rides all seem to focus triggering more motion sickness than any kind of desirable thrill reaction from a bygone era. I realize it’s probably a lot less expensive to produce visual effects than it was to deliver the great thrill ride experience they were known for. But does EVERY ride need to be done as cheaply and as nauseatingly as possible. I bet that a lot of people would prefer some of the old classics over the more modern vomit-inducing options that all seem to follow the same formula. At least mix it up.
